1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using ColdSnap ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
2. Description of Service
ColdSnap is a field service application for HVAC technicians. The Service provides tools for diagnostics, quoting, invoicing, job management, and reference materials.
3. Disclaimer of Warranties
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. ColdSnap does not warrant that diagnostic results, quotes, reference data, or any other output will be accurate, complete, or error-free.
All diagnostics, recommendations, and reference materials are for informational purposes only. You are solely responsible for verifying all information against the actual equipment before performing any work. ColdSnap is not a substitute for professional training, manufacturer specifications, or local code requirements.
4. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, ColdSnap and its owners, employees, and affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to property damage, personal injury, loss of revenue, or loss of data, arising out of or related to your use of the Service.
You acknowledge that HVAC work involves inherent risks including but not limited to electrical hazards, refrigerant handling, and working with pressurized systems. ColdSnap assumes no responsibility for any work performed based on information provided by the Service.
5. User Responsibilities
You agree to:
- Verify all diagnostic results and recommendations against actual equipment conditions
- Follow all applicable local, state, and federal codes and regulations
- Maintain proper EPA certifications for refrigerant handling
- Use the Service as a supplementary tool, not as your sole basis for decisions
- Keep your account credentials secure
6. Subscriptions and Payments
Paid plans (Pro at $29/month, Shop at $79/month for up to 10 technicians) are billed monthly or annually through Stripe. You may cancel at any time. Refunds are handled on a case by case basis. Free tier features may change without notice.
7. Data and Privacy
Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy. Job data, customer records, and photos you upload remain yours. We do not sell your data.
8. Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time for violation of these terms. You may delete your account at any time by contacting support.
9. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
